Interestingly, when it went dark with Alex in the loft, I thought that was the end (of the film...and him I suppose). I guess you could have left it a bit longer before the match got lit?
Other thing was there was a bit of a jump between Nick being in the loft and coming back for the box; he seemed suddenly at the bottom of the ladder.
But that all sounds like nit-picking now I have written it. Sorry! Carry on...
The first seems not to make sense to me (sorry) so I just would love a bit of clarity. You thought it was the end, but then were surprised that I came back? I really did toy with making the blackness longer (it was longer in real life) but in the end was worried that it would seem like the movie was finished. Our previous movie was slow so I wanted to press this one forward. And also not confuse people on YouTube. I don't like waiting around on YouTube either, so I wanted to speed it up.
On the second thing it was really a very annoying thing. We filmed Nick going up into the attic and then after that we suddenly realised what a nice shot it would make when Nick pushed up the loft hatch. What we should have done was film something where it was obvious that Nick was climbing down the ladder, but from the only shot I had it was really obvious that the top of Nick's ladder was inside the loft so he couldn't have just been up there lifting the loft hatch.
Maybe people would have noticed that less - not sure. You're probably right.
But yeah, on the first one you seem to contradict yourself (or I may just be misunderstanding it)?

Very good.

This is of course not Solveig really, it's me.
Er, me.
I guessed! I'd know that "carry on" anywhere!
The two points are interesting ones...

Actually, it wasn't Alex's fault in the editing, I am just unnaturally fast at coming down ladders - the camera has a hard time keeping up with me.
But, seriously, what Alex said...
